We work with all insurance companies.
How do I know if my insurance will cover the repairs?
You will want to talk to your agent and let them know you are getting an estimate. When you’re talking to your agent, you will also want to find out how much your deductible is. They might also provide you with a list of preferred providers. Once you’ve notified them, schedule your estimate with us and we’ll handle the rest.
How long will it take?
At Blue Ribbon Auto Body, we want to get you back behind the wheel of your vehicle as quickly as possible. Various things can factor into how long it will take to repair your car. Factors, including a need to order replacement parts or the location from which the parts are shipped to us, can determine the time needed time to repair your vehicle. During your estimate, we’ll give you our best-anticipated timeline for repairs.
What days are you open?
We are open for business Monday through Friday from 8am to 5pm.
Can you match the paint color?
Absolutely! We use waterborne paint that is environmentally friendly, lowering the VOC and resulting in less odor. It’s also more durable and flexible than solvent-based paints.
Can I get other service work done while my car is in the auto body shop?
Yes! Just let us know, and we’ll work with our local partners to make the necessary arrangements.
What if I need a rental car?
Don’t worry about it. We have a partnership with Enterprise Rent-A-Car® and will help you arrange car rental if your insurance plan covers the rental cost. If your policy doesn’t, that’s no problem. We have a wide variety of loaner vehicles to use while your car is in for repairs.
Do I have a deductible? Who do I pay?
If your insurance provider doesn’t waive the deductible, you’ll be responsible for paying the amount to Blue Ribbon Auto Body when you come to pick up your vehicle. If you aren’t sure about your deductible, don’t be afraid to ask. We can help answer any questions you might have.
How do I pay you?
We want to make it easy for you. At all of our Blue Ribbon Auto Body locations, we accept all major credit cards, cash, cashier’s check, personal checks, and debit cards.
Do I have to use the auto body shop my insurance company tells me I have to?
At Blue Ribbon Auto Body, we are on the preferred provider’s list for many major insurance carriers. To answer your question, however, you do not. The ultimate decision of which auto body shop you choose to make repairs is up to you.
When can I wash my car?
We recommend that you take a lot of precautions with your vehicle for the first 30 days after repair. If you are going to wash it, we recommend initially skipping the commercial car wash and washing it by hand with cool water and a very mild cleaning solution using a soft cloth or sponge. Let it air dry too!
